Develop Perfect Relative Pitch
Train your ear to recognize scale degrees instantly. Musicians with strong relative pitch can transcribe melodies, improvise confidently, and understand harmonic relationships intuitively.
In the app
Here are some things that are even better in the app.
-
Fifteen levels
Fixed C major through mixed major and minor across three octaves.
-
Saved progress
Passed levels persist between sessions.
-
Solfège Trainer
The same drill with your voice.
The Full Experience
Why this is not an interval drill
The distance between two bare notes is easy to drill and hard to use. Key context is the part that transfers to playing.
A cadence plays first, every time
Each question sets the key with a I–IV–V–I progression before the target sounds, so you place the note in context instead of measuring a gap.
You answer in scale degrees
Do, re, mi rather than “minor sixth”. When you are actually playing, what matters is where a note sits in the key.
A wrong answer resolves home
Miss one and it steps back down to the tonic, so you hear where the note wanted to go instead of just seeing a cross.
9 Tools for Musicians
The mobile app groups them the same way: analyze what you play, make sound, then train your ear.
